Michigan Mick primarily refers to Detroit-based blues-rock musician, Michael Hishon, know for his guitar work and singing. He’s toured across the USA and Europe, represented the West Michigan Blues Society (2024) and the Detroit Blues Society (2025) at the International Blues Challenge in Memphis, and has performed with legendary guitarists, Jim McCarty (Mitch Ryder and The Detroit Wheels/Cactus/The Rockets) and Alvin Lee (10 Years After)
His latest album, BIG LEG WOMAN, features 10 original tracks that blend raw blues with rock ‘n’ roll swagger, Detroit-style, and unapologetic.
